Microwave Magnetoelectric Couplings in FeCoB/Piezoelectric Bilayers
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2013This paper deals with the study of magnetoelectric structures which could allow the emergence of a new class of microwave tunable devices. Our interest was focused on composite magnetoelectric structures which associate piezoelectric substrates and magnetostrictive layers in order to get a variation of microwave permeability thanks to an electric field.

Magnetoelectric coupling in nanocrystalline Pb0.82La0.18TiO3
Applied Physics Letters, 2012The combined effect of Pb vacancies and La dopant can induce ferromagnetism below 75 K for Pb0.82La0.18TiO3 plates annealed at 700,1000, and 1200 °C for 1 h. Pb0.82La0.18TiO3 plates annealed at 1000 °C for 1 h show the coexistence of ferromagnetism resulting from oxygen vacancies at/near surfaces of nanograins and ferroelectricity near room temperature.

Magnetoelectric coupling in multiferroic BiFeO3 nanowires
Chemical Physics Letters, 2013Abstract Nanowires are the building blocks of future nanoelectronic and spintronic devices. Multiferroic BiFeO 3 nanowires of 20 nm size with rhombohedral structure (R3 c space group) have been synthesized by template-assisted technique. Magnetic and electrical measurements reveal their ferromagnetic and ferroelectric behavior having high ...

Acoustic wave coupled magnetoelectric effect
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2016Abstract Magnetoelectric (ME) coupling by acoustic waveguide was developed. Longitudinal and transversal ME effects of larger than 44 and 6 (V cm−1 Oe−1) were obtained with the waveguide-coupled ME device, respectively. Several resonant points were observed in the range of frequency lower than 47 kHz.

Magnetoelectric coupling by acoustic wave guide
Journal of Applied Physics, 2016Magnetoelectric (ME) coupling by acoustic waveguide was developed. A very strong axial ME response was observed. The dependences of the sample size and the frequency of the ac field on the ME coupling were investigated. Several resonant points were observed in the frequency range applied (<50 kHz).

Microscopic approach to the magnetoelectric coupling in RCrO3
Modern Physics Letters B, 2015A microscopic model is proposed to describing the multiferroic properties in [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is the magnetic rare earth ion. Using the Green’s function theory, the weak ferromagnetism and the coercive field are calculated by a balance between the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction (DMI), the single-ion anisotropy and the ...

Multiferroicity and magnetoelectric coupling in doped ZnO
Superlattices and Microstructures, 2014Abstract In this paper, we report the synthesis of pure ZnO, Li, Ni, and Mg doped (5 wt%) ZnO samples via sol–gel method and studied their structural, optical, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicates the successful formation of ZnO phase.
