Ferromagnetic Wires Composite Media with Tunable Scattering Spectra at Microwaves

open access: yes, 2006
We demonstrate composite media with ferromagnetic wires that exhibit a frequency region at the microwave regime with scattering spectra strongly dependent on an external magnetic field or stress.

Effects of parallel and meander configuration on thin-film magnetoimpedance element

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2020
We investigated the effects of configuration of thin-film magnetoimpedance element on impedance profile. The parallel type and meander type sensor element were fabricated.

Influence of length and measurement geometry on magnetoimpedance in La0.7Sr0.3MnO3

open access: yes, 2009
We show that ac magnetoresistance at room temperature in La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 is extremely high (= 47% in H = 100 mT, f = 3-5 MHz), and magnetic field dependence of reactance exhibits a double peak behavior.

Double-Core GMI Current Sensor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A novel design of the giant magnetoimpedance contactless current sensor is presented. A double-core structure is used in order to improve the temperature stability.

Phenomenological theory of the giant magnetoimpedance of composite wires

open access: yes, 2012
Composite wires with a three-layered structure are known to show a particularly large magnetoimpedance effect. The wires consist of a highly conductive core, an insulating layer and an outer ferromagnetic shell.

A large magnetoinductance effect in La0.67Ba0.33MnO3

open access: yes, 2009
We report four probe impedance of La0.67Ba0.33MnO3 at f = 100 kHz under different dc bias magnetic fields. The ac resistance (R) exhibits a peak around Tp = 325 K which is accompanied by a rapid increase and a peak in the reactance (X) in a zero field ...

Magnetoimpedance Effects in Electrodeposited NiFe Nanowire Array

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica A, 2014
In this work, NiFe nanowires were grown in highly ordered porous anodic alumina oxide templates by dc electrodeposition at a pH value of 2.6. Scanning electron microscopy showed that wires have diameters of about 250 310 nm and length 25 30 μm. The energy dispersive X-ray analysis showed that the composition of the nanowires is Ni65Fe35.

Torsion Dependence of Domain Transition and MI Effect of Melt-Extracted Co68.15Fe4.35Si12.25B13.25Nb1Cu1 Microwires

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2015
We present the torsional stress induced magnetoimpedance (MI) effect and surface domain structure evolution of magnetostrictive melt-extracted Co68.15Fe4.35Si12.25B13.25Nb1Cu1 microwires.

Advances in Magnetic Field Sensors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The most important milestone in the field of magnetic sensors was when AMR sensors started to replace Hall sensors in many applications where the greater sensitivity of AMRs was an advantage. GMR and SDT sensors finally found applications. We also review
