An Ecosystem to Develop Multi‐Agent Systems in Real‐World IoT Applications

open access: yesSoftware: Practice and Experience, Volume 56, Issue 4, Page 339-356, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Software agents and multi‐agent systems are critical components in the development of distributed autonomous systems, as they exhibit a wide range of “intelligence,” from reactive behaviors to advanced reasoning and planning. Integrating these capabilities into multi‐agent systems enables distributed artificial intelligence, a programming ...

Efficient Heterogeneous Fenton‐Like Decolorization of Cationic Dyes by a Magnetic Guar Gum/Kaolin/Fe3O4 Composite

open access: yesWater Environment Research, Volume 98, Issue 4, April 2026.
A novel, eco‐friendly magnetic composite (GG‐mKao) was synthesized from guar gum, kaolin, and Fe3O4 and used as a heterogeneous Fenton‐like catalyst for efficient decolorization of methyl violet 2B, showing high activity, reusability, and low iron leaching.

ULF Wave Modulation of Energetic Electron Precipitation Caused by the Self‐Limiting of Space Radiation: May 2024 Superstorm Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract The May 2024 geomagnetic superstorm provided the opportunity to explore how strong wave‐particle interactions affect energetic electron precipitation under intense driving. Using coordinated measurements from a balloon‐borne Timepix‐based X‐ray detector, ground‐based riometers and magnetometers, and Arase satellite observations, we identified ...

Robust Directional Analysis of Magnetic Microscopy Images Using Non‐Linear Inversion and Iterative Euler Deconvolution

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract In paleomagnetism, bulk measurements of entire samples have traditionally been used to characterize remanent magnetization. While effective, this approach provides only a general directional estimate and cannot resolve spatial variability or magnetization at the grain scale.

Northeastern Greenland Paleomagnetic Records Indicate the Influence of Geomagnetic Flux Lobe Intensity on Virtual Geomagnetic Pole Migration During the Holocene

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Paleomagnetic and rock magnetic analyses were conducted on sediment cores from the northeastern Greenland Shelf and Young Sound along the western edge of Fram Strait. The paleomagnetic signal in all three sediment cores is characterized by a strong and stable single component magnetization carried by low coercivity ferrimagnetic single domain ...

Automated Detection of Equatorial Plasma Bubbles From the Magnetic Measurements of Macau Science Satellite‐1 Using Machine Learning

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Equatorial plasma bubbles (EPBs) are plasma density depletion structures that produce magnetic field perturbations through the diamagnetic effect and therefore need to be identified and excluded in high‐precision geomagnetic field modeling. Traditional EPB detection methods typically rely on in situ electron density or total electron content ...
