Cavity Optomechanical Magnetometer [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2012
A cavity optomechanical magnetometer is demonstrated where the magnetic field induced expansion of a magnetostrictive material is transduced onto the physical structure of a highly compliant optical microresonator. The resulting motion is read out optically with ultra-high sensitivity.

Magnetometer-Detected Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Photochemically Hyperpolarized Molecules

open access: yes, 2023
Photochemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (photo-CIDNP) enables nuclear spin ordering by irradiating samples with light. Polarized spins are conventionally detected via high-field chemical-shift-resolved NMR (above 0.1 T).

Control of a Drone in Virtual Reality Using MEMS Sensor Technology and Machine Learning

open access: yesMicromachines, 2022
In recent years, drones have been widely used in various applications, from entertainment, agriculture, their use in photo and video services, military applications and so on. The risk of accidents while using a drone is quite high.

Comparison of Scalar Magnetic Field Data of China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite and Swarm Bravo Satellite

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2022
Based on the in-orbit magnetic field data of the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES) and Swarm satellites, some research studies on the data consistency cross comparison were carried out.

L’application de la géophysique marine au diagnostic subaquatique

open access: yesArchéopages, 2015
The size of the areas that need to be surveyed underwater can quickly get out of hand, which means that traditional survey methods of total survey of the seabed by divers are not up appropriate.

Electrodynamics of an omega-band as deduced from optical and magnetometer data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We investigate an omega-band event that took place above northern Scandinavia around 02:00–02:30 UT on 9 March 1999. In our analysis we use ground based magnetometer, optical and riometer measurements together with satellite based optical images.

Near Real-Time Estimation of Geomagnetic Local K Index From Gyeongzu Magnetometer [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2005
Local K-index is an indicator representing local geomagnetic activity in every 3 hour. For estimation of the local K-index, a reasonable determination of solar quiet curve (undisturbed daily variation of geomagnetic field) is quiet essential.

On the Estimation of Resonance Widths of Field Line Resonances Using Ground Magnetometer Data

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2022
This paper presents a comparison of three methods to estimate the latitudinal resonance width of field line resonant, ultra-low frequency waves detected at the ground.
