Dynamic analysis of atomic magnetometer and co-magnetometer

Abstract Some unsteady-state solutions of Bloch equation which well-describe the behavior of a magnetometer are obtained. These solutions are in accord with the experimental result of alkali-metal magnetometer and co-magnetometer gyroscope. Many interesting phenomena can be also achieved via the solutions.

Cavity Optomechanical Magnetometers

This chapter introduces a new form of magnetometer which combines precision cavity optomechanical measurement with magnetostrictive material response. Such magnetometers can be fabricated on-chip and function both at room temperature and in earths magnetic field.
