A Bibliography of Magnetooptics of Solids
Applied Optics, 1967This bibliography contains many of the papers dealing with magnetooptical effects in solids. It is arranged in sections by subject matter and in chronological order within sections; the papers are alphabetized in each year by first author's last name. The information given is author, title of paper, and reference.

Dispersive magnetooptic filters
Applied Optics, 1982The anomalous dispersion of the Faraday rotation near optical resonance lines can be employed to build extremely narrowband filters (0.01 A) with a very wide field of view (+/-45 degrees ). This paper investigates the properties of these filters.

Magnetooptic bounce-cavity modulator
Applied Optics, 1979In this paper a new type of magnetooptic modulator having a bounce-cavity structure is described. Direct amplitude modulation is achieved by utilizing the Faraday effect in conjunction with the differential reflectivity of dielectric mirrors for polarizations parallel to (TM) or perpendicular to (TE) the plane of incidence.

Measurement of reflectivities for magnetooptical media
Applied Optics, 1986Reflectivities for magnetooptical media are measured as functions of angle of incidence in a series of related experiments. Measurements yield sufficient information to determine absolute magnitude and relative phase for the Fresnel amplitude reflection coefficients, r‖(p) and r‖(s), as well as for r⊥, which describes the polar Kerr effect on ...

A Brief Survey of Magnetooptics
Applied Optics, 1967A brief account is given of many of the areas being studied by magnetooptic techniques today. The main effort is in solids with the spectrum being broadly covered from the uv to the rf region.
