Magnetoplasmons and persistent currents in cylindrical tubules
Physical Review B, 1993The quasi-one-dimensional (1D) magnetoplasmons of a graphene tubule threaded by a magnetic field (B) have been evaluated exactly within the random-phase approximation. The plasmon frequency ${\mathit{w}}_{\mathit{p}}$ exhibits a very rich structure as a function of the magnetic flux through the tubule (\ensuremath{\varphi})---including many cusps. The \

Quantization effects on magnetoplasmons in quantum wells
Physical Review B, 1992We study theoretically quantization effects in intrasubband magnetoplasmon energy spectra, for both quasi-one-dimensional (1D) and quasi-2D structures, using random-phase-approximation calculations. We find interesting peak structures in the intrasubband magnetoplasmon energy spectra when the Fermi surface crosses new energy subbands.

Optics LettersUnidirectional electromagnetic modes, as an extreme regime of wave propagation, enable extraordinary and counterintuitive optical effects. These modes are typically realized as tightly confined surface waves in photonic crystals or materials with topologically nontrivial bandgaps.
