Surface-plasmon-polariton-driven narrow-linewidth magneto-optics in Ni nanodisk arrays
The field of magnetoplasmonics exploits interactions between light and magnetic matter at the nanoscale for light manipulation and resonant magneto-optics. One of the great challenges of this field is overcoming optical losses in magnetic metals.

Role of interactions in the magneto-plasmonic response at the geometrical threshold of surface continuity [PDF]
The optical and magneto-optical behavior in periodically nanostructured surfaces at the threshold of surface continuity is revealed. We address Co films that evolve from an island-like array to a connecting network of islands that form a membrane pattern.

Hybrid Ni/SiO2/Au dimer arrays for high-resolution refractive index sensing
We introduce a novel magnetoplasmonic sensor concept for sensitive detection of refractive index changes. The sensor consists of a periodic array of Ni/SiO2/Au dimer nanodisks.

Magnetoplasmonic Quasicrystals
Nanostructured magneto-optical materials sustaining optical resonances open very efficient way for light control via magnetic field, which is of prime importance for telecommunication and sensing applications. However, usually their response is narrowband due to its resonance character.

Optical and magneto-optical properties of Au:Conanoparticles and Co:Aunanoparticles doped magnetoplasmonic systems [PDF]
© 2015 AIP Publishing LLC. We report a study of Au:CoNPs and Co:AuNPs doped magnetoplasmonic systems. In particular, we analyze the effect of adding different concentrations of Co (or Au) nanoparticles (NPs) in a Au (or Co) matrix on both the optical and
