Preparation of magnetorheological fluid and its application in a magnetorheological damper
Physics of FluidsTo enhance the mechanical properties of built-in valve-type magnetorheological dampers, a new magnetorheological fluid (abbreviated as HCMN-MRF) prepared using hydroxylated carbon nanotubes (HCNT)-coated micrometer-sized carbonyl iron particles (CIPs) mixed with nano-sized iron particles (NIPs) was investigated in this study.

Magnetorheological valve in servo applications
Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, 2011In this article, the servo property of a high-performance magnetorheological valve will be evaluated by closing the pressure feedback loop. The magnetorheological valve developed in this study has two separately controllable fluid flow channels and is especially designed for high-frequency applications.
