Diapause Dynamics And Host Plant Utilization of \u3ci\u3eColias Philodice, Colias Interior\u3c/i\u3e and Their Hybrids (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) [PDF]
Abnormal diapause dynamics and, to a lesser extent, reduced efficiency of host utilization by hybrid larvae constitute potential post-zygotic barriers to gene flow between a multivoltine legume-feeder, Colias philodice (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) and a ...

This study found that riverside populations of Adenophora triphylla have genetically fixed morphological traits—such as narrower leaves and thicker, shorter petioles and stems—that help resist water flow stress. These traits were maintained even under cultivation, suggesting adaptive evolution rather than mere plasticity.

Chromosome studies in the family Magnoliaceae.
Chromosome study has been carried out on ten species belonging to three genera of the family Magnoliaceae, with the application of improved techniques. Only two species, namely Magnolia liliflora (2n=76) and M. grandiflora (2n=114) show high chromosome numbers, the rest showing 2n=38 chromosomes.
