Management with ketorolac or corticosteroids for subacromial impingement syndrome: Results from a randomised controlled trial

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Orthopaedics, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Purpose Subacromial impingement syndrome (SAIS) causes shoulder pain and limitations. While corticosteroid injections are common, concerns about side effects lead to exploring alternatives like ketorolac. This trial compared the short‐term effectiveness of subacromial ketorolac versus corticosteroids in SAIS patients. Methods This double‐blind,

Film Blowing of Biobased Biodegradable Polyesters: Poly (Pentylene Adipate‐co‐Terephthalate) and Poly (Dodecylene Furanoate)

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 1, January 2026.
Two novel biobased and biodegradable polyesters are explored as replacements for commercial PBAT and LLDPE in flexible film applications. Although some differences exist between these new materials and the commercial materials, nothing appears to disqualify these new materials as being acceptable as drop‐in replacements for flexible film applications ...

Heat Sealability and Convertibility of Cellulose Film in Vertical Form, Fill and Seal Machine for Food Packaging Applications

open access: yesPackaging Technology and Science, Volume 39, Issue 1, Page 33-48, January 2026.
The study demonstrated that regenerated cellulose films exhibit limited sealability at elevated temperatures due to thermal degradation. Serrated sealing tools enabled tighter seals especially in triple point area, while flat tools resulted in microchannel leaks.
