Additional lateral meniscus centralization reduces residual anterolateral rotatory instability after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and lateral meniscus repair

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose This study aimed to examine the effects of lateral meniscus (LM) centralization on anterolateral rotational stability in patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and LM injuries. The hypothesis was that performing LM repair and centralization on knees with LM lesions would control anterolateral rotatory instability (ALRI ...

Tunable Terahertz Generation in Dispersion‐Engineered ZnTe Waveguides

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A dispersion‐engineered Zinc Telluride (ZnTe) slab waveguide platform enables tunable and efficient guided‐wave terahertz (THz) generation through modal phase matching. By tailoring the optical and THz modal dispersion, coherent THz emission is achieved across 0.1–3 THz.

Reconfigurable Geometric Phase Matching by Multilayered Nonlinear Thin‐Film Crystals

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
The concept of geometric phase matching is demonstrated as a dynamically reconfigurable approach for tunable nonlinear wave mixing in multilayered nonlinear thin‐film crystals. Experimental results reveal full modulation in a bilayer structure and near‐perfect spin‐selective phase matching of second‐harmonic generation in an eight‐layer configuration ...

Improving Voice Outcomes After Transoral Laser Surgery for Early Glottic Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To determine which intraoperative and postoperative interventions improve voice outcomes following transoral laser microsurgery (TLM) for early‐stage glottic squamous cell carcinoma (T1‐T2). Data Sources English literature was searched on PubMed, OVID Medline, CINAHL, Embase, and Scopus. Review Methods PRISMA guidelines were followed.
