The 4–400 GHz Survey for the 32 Class II Disks in the Taurus Molecular Cloud

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
We have compiled the ∼4–400 GHz broad spectra of 32 Class II protoplanetary disks (PPDs) in the Taurus-Auriga region, which represents the brightest one-third of sources detected in the submillimeter band in this region.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Signature of main sequence internal structure in post-main sequence stars

open access: yes, 2009
Post Main Sequence (post MS) stars keep a trace of their past main sequence history. Typically, the presence or not of an Intermediate Convective Zone (ICZ) above the H-burning shell of massive stars critically depends on the details of the Main Sequence (MS) phase modeling (convection criterion, mass loss,~...).

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

An Episode of Occultation Events in Gaia21bcv

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
A previously unremarkable star near the Canis Major OB1/R1 association underwent an episode of multiple deep brightness minima. Light curves based on archival Gaia, Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF), and NEOWISE data and additional observations from the ...

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Submillimeter Variability in the Envelope and Warped Protostellar Disk of the Class 0 Protostar HOPS 358

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) Transient Survey recently discovered that the Class 0 protostar HOPS 358 decreased in 350 GHz continuum brightness by ∼25% over the course of 4 yr before brightening again for the next 4.
