Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Optimization of the maintenance planning of a multi-component system

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
The vehicle’s maintenance costs, uptime and security are the most important goals for owners and transport companies, but these goals are conflictual and the major cause for delays is related to the maintenance policies.

Competitive Policies for Online Collateral Maintenance

open access: yesCoRR
Layer-two blockchain protocols emerged to address scalability issues related to fees, storage cost, and confirmation delay of on-chain transactions. They aggregate off-chain transactions into a fewer on-chain ones, thus offering immediate settlement and reduced transaction fees.

Economic analysis of maintenance policies for a system

open access: yes2009 IEEE International Symposium on Diagnostics for Electric Machines, Power Electronics and Drives, 2009
Maintenance is an inevitable reality in industry. Maintenance of a system usually involves maintenance of multiple components with multiple failure modes, each of which may require different maintenance policy (i.e., corrective (CM), preventive (PM), or condition based maintenance (CBM)). A maintenance policy may be best for one component and the worst
