CBM Integrated Maintenance Scheduler
Volume 7: Education; Industrial and Cogeneration; Marine; Oil and Gas Applications, 2008Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) is a key technology enabling facility maintenance cost reduction. The CBM approach to maintenance replaces rigid time-based maintenance schedules with the “right maintenance at the right time” identified by real-time equipment health monitoring.

Maintenance Scheduling in Risk Assessment Procedures
Key Engineering Materials, 2006The probabilistic analysis of evolutive states of damage, as those induced by fatigue loads, has been the subject of a wide spectrum of researches in the most recent years, in order to widen the range of applications and to deal with large structures, especially in the aeronautical field, where the high safety requirements need the evaluation of very ...

Reliable Preventive Maintenance Scheduling
A I I E Transactions, 1979Abstract Maintenance of goods producing systems is undertaken on the principle of minimum cost whereas the maintenance of service producing systems is done on the principle of operational reliability. High pressure boilers, elevator ropes, aeroplane engines, subway tunnels, suspension bridges, air conditioning and transportation networks are examples ...

Machinery Maintenance Scheduler System
2009The aim of this study is to develop a prototype of web based machinery maintenance scheduling system. Maintenance is an important task in remaining the system functionality and to extend the life time of an asset. However, a weak maintenance management and practice may leads to the major system failure which involved high maintenance cost.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
2009Planning is the process of determining future decisions and actions necessary to accomplish intended goals, and targets. Planning for future actions helps in achieving goals in the most efficient and effective manner. It minimizes costs and reduces risks and missing opportunities. It can also increase the competitive edge of the organization.

Urine Testing Schedules In Methadone Maintenance
JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1971To the Editor.— Goldstein and Brown ( 214 :311-315, 1970) have pointed out the important advantages, including financial savings, to be obtained from random urine testing schedules in heroin addiction treatment programs. As the authors note, however, these procedures have one serious drawback.

Optimal Maintenance Schedules of Computer Software
Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, 1990We present a decision procedure to determine the optimal maintenance intervals of a computer software throughout its operational phase. Our model accounts for the average cost per each maintenance activity and the damage cost per failure with the future cost discounted.
