Investigation into the flotation of malachite, calcite and quartz with three phosphate surfactants

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2019
The flotation response of malachite, calcite and quartz to bis (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (DEHPA), dibutyl phosphate (DBP) and tributyl phosphate (TBP) was evaluated by micro-flotation experiments.

Unravelling the initiator‐only stage in alginate grafting: Radical‐induced depolymerization and its impact on acrylamide grafting efficiency

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Free‐radical grafting of natural polymers often assumes that initiators only create active sites before monomer addition. We tested this by exposing sodium alginate to potassium persulphate (KPS) under typical grafting conditions without monomer (acrylamide).

Near-Infrared Spectroscopic Study of Secondary Minerals in the Oxidation Zones of Copper-Bearing Deposits

open access: yesCrystals
This study measured the infrared spectra of secondary minerals in the oxidation zones of three types of copper ores: dioptase, malachite, and azurite, and assigned the peak positions of OH stretching vibrations and the origins of OH combination ...

Channel Microenvironment‐Controlled Pillared MOF as Efficient Triboelectric Nanogenerator Material for Self‐Powered Degradation of Organic Pollutants

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The pore microenvironment regulation of metal–organic framework (MOF) significantly enhanced the output performance of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) through SC‐SC transformation, which provides a new idea for the construction of self‐powered degradation systems for organic pollutants.

Geochemistry and Geochronology of Magmatic Rocks in Southwestern and Northeastern Cambodia: Implications for the Tectonic Evolution and Metallogenesis of the Loei Fold Belt

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
The composition of intrusive rocks suggests that the magma was likely generated in a subduction‐related setting. The arc crustal thickness in the Phnom Sro Ngam and Halo Prospects was probably < 40 km during emplacement. Zircon U–Pb age range indicates a correlation with Loei Fold Belt magmatic activity.
