In this study, the flotation behavior of malachite was investigated using hydrophobic talc nanoparticles (TNs) as collectors. To improve the floatability of TN-deposited malachite, various experimental parameters were systematically investigated.

Adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of malachite green dye unto acid activated low cost carbon.
A carbonaceous adsorbent prepared from an indigenous waste by acid treatment was tested for its efficiency in removing Malachite green (MG). The parameters studied include agitation time, initial dye concentration, carbon dose, pH and temperature.

Hydrothermal liquefaction of waste polyethylene produces char that effectively removes rhodamine B from water. Nearly complete dye adsorption is achieved under optimum conditions, with adsorption following Langmuir isotherm and pseudo‐first‐order kinetics.
