Aerosol‐Generating Potential of Topical Nasal Preparation Before Nasoendoscopy: A Quantitative Study

Metered nasal sprays significantly increase aerosol and droplet levels compared to baseline. Aerosol generation occurs even in controlled outpatient conditions, independent of patient factors. Clinicians should balance patient comfort and procedural benefits against potential infectious risks.
