LIPOGRANULOMA OF THE MALE GENITALIA

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1981
A case of lipogranuloma of the external genitalia is presented. The history and histological features suggest that the exogenous lipid was introduced by the topical application of a baby oil used after minor trauma to the penis. Initial treatment by steroids and immunosuppressive agents was followed by complete excision of the granuloma.

Demonstrating sexual selection by cryptic female choice on male genitalia: What is enough?

Evolution; international journal of organic evolution, 2019
Rapid divergence in external genital structures occurs in nearly all animal groups that practice internal insemination; explaining this pattern is a major challenge in evolutionary biology.

Female genitalia are moderately informative for phylogenetic inference and not concerted with male genitalia in Saprininae beetles (Coleoptera: Histeridae)

Systematic Entomology, 2019
Our study – the first of its kind within Histeridae (Coleoptera) – deals with the female genitalia in the subfamily Saprininae, with respect to their variation and utility for phylogenetic reconstruction.

INADEQUATE MALE GENITALIA

Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, 1972
SYNOPSISA decision concerning the appropriate sex of rearing of an intersex patient can be difficult, especially in the patient in whom biological tests favour the male sex but the phallus is so small that it could be called an enlarged clitoris. Two such patients are described; one was reared as a male and the other as a female, and the reasons for ...

American Asteraceae-feeding Astrotischeria species with a highly modified, three-lobed valva in the male genitalia (Lepidoptera, Tischeriidae).

Zootaxa, 2018
We review eleven Astrotischeria Puplesis Diškus (Lepidoptera: Tischeriidae) species which possess a novel character for the Tischeriidae family: a highly modified valva of the male genitalia with one ventral and two dorsal lobes (or processes).

Tumours of the Male Genitalia

1973
Carcinoma of the penis is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Ugandan men. It usually develops in the coronal sulcus and the incidence is closely correlated with standards of genital hygiene. Circumcision protects against the development of this tumour e0ven if carried out at puberty.

Gunshot Wounds to the Male Genitalia

The Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1995
Fifty consecutive cases of gunshot wounds to the male external genitalia were treated by the Tulane University Urology Service at the Medical Center of Louisiana in New Orleans. Fifty percent of the patients had significant associated injuries. Eight anterior urethral injuries were identified, all by retrograde urethrography.

LIPOGRANULOMATA OF MALE GENITALIA

British Journal of Urology, 1967
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS Two cases of lipogranulomata of the male genitalia are presented. They may present as an acute disease or as a more chronic lesion with symptoms and signs coming on months or years after injection. Often there is no history of injection and the patient is apt to be psychiatrically abnormal.
