Time-to-pregnancy among male greenhouse workers
Objectives:Fertility problems are an increasing public health issue in industrialised countries. Exposure to exogenous agents with endocrine disrupting properties, such as some pesticides, are potential risk factors for subfertility. The aim of this study was to determine whether time-to-pregnancy (TTP) is prolonged in male greenhouse workers exposed ...

Bioengineered 3D hPSC‐Cholangiocyte Ducts With Physiological Signals for Biliary Disease Modeling
Tian and colleagues generated a bioengineered bile duct from human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)‐derived intrahepatic cholangiocytes within a high‐throughput, 384‐well platform to systematically examine the influence of biliary physiological signals including fluid flow, stromal cells and bile acids, and models intrahepatic biliary disease progression ...

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Study of a Novel Bi‐Layered Thermoplastic Polyurethane Patch for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia
Large congenital diaphragmatic hernia remains a challenge due to the poor compatibility of current prostheses. To tackle this problem, a bilayer thermoplastic polyurethane patch with tunable mechanical properties is engineered, whose fibrous side supports rapid fibroblast and myoblast colonization, while the smooth film limits adhesions.
