Malignant Cystosarcoma Phyllodes Of Prostate

Acta Pathologica Japonica, 1984
A case of malignant cystosarcoma phyllodes of the prostate is reported in a 45‐year‐old male. This tumor was composed of benign columnar or squamous cystic folds and sarcomatous stroma including rhabdomyomatous elements. The prostatic origin of the tumor was clearly proved by the unlabeled immunoperoxidase method. ACTA PATHOL. JPN. 34: 663–668, 1984.

Malignant Phyllodes of Breast

2021
Phyllodes tumors of breast (PTB) have been known to an uncommon and particular disease to handle owing to diagnostic ambiguity and unpredictable clinical outcome. Malignant phyllodes tumors (MPT) are diagnosed when there are marked stromal hypercellularity, atypia, increased mitoses of ≥10/10 HPFs, permeative tumor borders, and stromal overgrowth.

Malignant phyllodes tumor of the prostate

Pathology International, 1999
Phyllodes tumor of the prostate is rare. We have recently experienced a case of phyllodes tumor of the prostate in a 57‐year‐old man who complained of urinary retention for 1 year. The epithelial components were positive reactivity for prostate specific antigen. The stromal cells showed nuclear atypia with increased mitotic activity.

[Malignant cystosarcoma phyllodes].

Rozhledy v chirurgii : mesicnik Ceskoslovenske chirurgicke spolecnosti, 1992
The authors deal with the clinical and pathological aspects and histopathological criteria of malignity of cystosarcoma which are important from the aspect of assessment of the extent and type of surgical intervention. Large malignant cystosarcomas and cystosarcomas taking up the whole breast with damage of the skin are indicated for simple mastectomy,

Definitive Management of Malignant Phyllodes of the Breast

The American Surgeon™
Background Malignant phyllodes tumors (MPT) are rare, aggressive fibroepithelial breast neoplasms with limited consensus on optimal management. While wide local excision (WLE) with ≥1 cm margins is standard, recurrence remains common, and the role of adjuvant therapy remains unclear.
