Malignant Phyllodes Tumor of the Breast: A Practice Review [PDF]
Introduction: Phyllodes tumor (PT) of the breast, particularly malignant phyllodes tumor (mPT), is a rare fibroepithelial neoplasm. A complex diagnosis is based on pathologic, radiologic, and clinical findings, with controversies about what is the best therapeutic strategy. Objective: Our objective was to provide an overview of the clinical, pathologic,

Omental Metastasis of Malignant Phyllodes Tumor: A Case Report [PDF]
Malignant Phyllodes tumor behaves like sarcomas and has a tendency for local spread and for local recurrence. The metastasis commonly known is blood borne and is usually to the lungs, mediastinum and skeleton rather than to the axillary lymph nodes.

Concurrent ductal carcinoma in-situ and malignant phyllodes with tp53 mutation in an 11-year-old

Advanced MRI applications and findings of malignant phyllodes tumour: review of two cases [PDF]
Phyllodes tumour or cystosarcoma phyllodes is a rare stromal breast tumour that is usually benign but on rare occasions can turn malignant. Non-specificity of the imaging features on sonography and mammography makes it difficult to distinguish malignant ...

Spindle Cell Lesions of the Breast: A 12‐Year Experience
This 12‐year, single‐centre study examined 30 core‐biopsy‐diagnosed breast spindle cell lesions (BrSCL), classified as atypical (ASCL, n = 10) or bland (BSCL, n = 20). Following excision, 80% of ASCLs proved malignant, comprising sarcoma, malignant phyllodes tumour and metaplastic carcinoma.

Malignant Phyllodes Tumor of the Breast
Phyllodes tumors of the breast are rare lesions that historically have been presumed to be related to fibroadenomata, largely by virtue of the entities' histologic similarities. We report four cases of malignant phyllodes tumors (cystosarcoma phyllodes)

A guide to transcriptional cyclin‐dependent kinases in cancer
Transcriptional cyclin‐dependent‐kinases (tCDKs) facilitate gene expression by promoting RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) progression through discrete phases of the transcription cycle. Aberrant tCDK activity is detectable in different human cancers, thereby contributing to de‐regulated gene expression programs that drive oncogenic phenotypes.
