THE FUNCTIONAL INDEPENDENCE OF MANDS AND TACTS [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, 1985
This study demonstrates functional independence in the acquisition of mands and tacts. Some subjects first learned to mand the experimenter's placement of objects with the prepositional phrases “On the left” and “On the right.” They were regularly tested for collateral appearance of tacts with these same phrases.

Does teaching an omnibus mand preclude the development of specifying mands? [PDF]

open access: bronzeJournal of Applied Behavior Analysis, 2020
When problem behavior is controlled by a synthesized reinforcement contingency, a simple omnibus mand that yields access to all reinforcers simultaneously has been shown to effectively replace problem behavior. The question arises as to whether teaching an omnibus mand will preclude the acquisition of specifying mands for each of the combined ...

Direct In-Bone Protein Digestion With Subsequent LC Separation and Trap Ion Mobility MS Detection of Released Peptides as an Effective Tool for the Proteomic Characterization of Bone Tissues. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Sep Sci
ABSTRACT Common pathological changes in bone tissues like osteomas or exostoses remain not fully understood at the molecular level due to the difficulties in analyzing bone tissues in which they occur. Therefore, new rapid and powerful techniques are needed that could become routine tools for such analysis. The primary aim of this study was to evaluate
