Coefficients associated with the reciprocal of the Mandelbrot set [PDF]
A useful formula is given for the coefficients of the conformal mapping from the unit disk onto the complement of the reciprocal of the Mandelbrot set. As a consequence, a number of coefficients are determined.

Abstract The fractal dimensions of lava flow margins on Earth often correlate with their flow morphologies and have been used to tentatively identify flow morphology on other rocky planets where fine‐scale observations are limited. Previous studies of lava flow margins on Venus have reported fractal dimensions (D) mostly within the range between 1.05 ...

Exploring the Mandelbrot Set [PDF]
The Mandelbrot set is a mathematical mystery. Finding its home somewhere be-tween holomorphic dynamics and complex analysis, the Mandelbrot set showcasesits usefulness in fields across the many realms of math—ranging from physics to nu-merical methods ...

A Generalized Mandelbrot Set Based On Distance Ratio [PDF]
The iteration of complex function can generate beautiful fractal images. This paper presents a novel method based on the iteration of the distance ratio with two points, which generates a generalized Mandelbrot set according to distance ratio convergence

The Mandelbrot set is universal [PDF]
We show small Mandelbrot sets are dense in the bifurcation locus for any holomorphic family of rational maps. 1 Introduction Fix an integer d 2, and let p c (z) = z d + c.

When integers embrace the beauty of complex numbers [PDF]
Purpose. This article investigates how fixed-point arithmetic and discrete recursive models can reveal structured behaviours in systems traditionally considered chaotic. Methods.

Newton-Mandelbrot set and Murase-Mandelbrot set
We obtain four extended Newton's methods and three extended Mandelbrot's recurrence formulas from the Wasan (Japanese mathematics in the Edo period (1603-1868)). Furthermore, two extended Newton's methods relate to one of the extended Mandelbrot's recurrence formulas. We lead four types of extended Mandelbrot recurrence formulas.
