Mandibular molar with three distal root canals
Dental Traumatology, 1986Abstract An unusual case is presented in which there were three canals in the distal root of a mandibular first permanent molar. The anomaly was not detectable radiographically, but could be important during root canal treatment. The variation may be related to the occurrence of a contralateral three‐rooted molar seen in the patient.
