The reconstruction of large mandibular defect with combined distraction osteogenesis

ABSTRACT This case report presents a nonsurgical correction of a dentoalveolar Brodie bite in a mixed dentition patient using a quad‐helix appliance. Mandibular expansion resolved the transverse discrepancy within 3 months, improving occlusion, and eliminating a habitual mandibular shift that had contributed to facial asymmetry.
