Mandibular incisor extraction therapy
American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 1994Extracting a mandibular incisor has been stigmatized as an expedient that may adversely affect the occlusion. However, when properly used, the extraction is only one aspect of the total correction of the malocclusion. Failure to observe this will fulfill the negative predictions.

Unrecognized aspiration of a mandibular incisor
Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 2001Aspiration of teeth and dental prostheses is a recognized sequela of maxillofacial injury. Mandibular Incisor Apicoectomy in a Canadian Beaver
Journal of Veterinary Dentistry, 2009A 52-month-old Canadian beaver was presented for treatment of lip trauma resulting from overgrowth of the right mandibular incisor tooth following earlier loss of the right maxillary incisor tooth. Extraction of the affected tooth was considered, but rejected due to the length of the embedded portion of rodent mandibular incisor teeth.

Ideal endodontic access in mandibular incisors
Journal of Endodontics, 1999Straight-line access in mandibular incisors facilitates locating and debridement of the canals. The purpose of this study was to plot where ideal access should be located in mandibular incisors to obtain straight-line access to the apical third of the root canal and to determine if a correlation exists between incisal edge wear and position of access ...

Root canal system of the mandibular incisor
Journal of Endodontics, 1997To better assess the efficiency of the mechanical preparation of root canals, 1085 transparent specimens of extracted mandibular incisors were examined for canal configuration, thickness and curvature of the root canals, condition of any accessory canals, and location of the apical foramen.
