An Overview of MANETs Simulation

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2006
AbstractMobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) are dynamic networks populated by mobile stations. Stations in MANETs are usually laptops, PDAs or mobile phones. These devices feature Bluetooth and/or IEEE 802.11 (WiFi) network interfaces and communicate in a decentralized manner. Mobility is a key feature of MANETs.

Collaborative Multi-Hop Cyclic Redundancy Check and Reputation Approach Against Black Hole Attacks to Enhance Security in Mobile Adhoc Networks

open access: yesTransport and Telecommunication
Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) are networks that can be formed among mobile nodes that self-organize, without necessitating any fixed infrastructure. They are dynamic networks where the nodes can join or leave the network.

Message delay in MANET

open access: yesProceedings of the 2005 ACM SIGMETRICS international conference on Measurement and modeling of computer systems, 2005
A generic stochastic model with only two input parameters is introduced to evaluate the message delay in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) where nodes may relay messages. The Laplace-Stieltjes transform (LST) of the message delay is obtained for two protocols: the two-hop and the unrestricted multicopy protocol.

Survey of clustering techniques for mobile ad hoc networks

A Backup Routing Scheme for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research, 2009
In recent years, performance of the Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) has become an important research area in the wireless networks community. MANET consists of clusters of Mobile Nodes (MNs) on the access network that could be connected to other clusters ...

Optimizing Routes Quality and Scattering in the AODV Routing Protocol

open access: yesJournal of Computer Science and Technology, 2007
An ad-hoc mobile network is a collection of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis.

Brune, Smith, Ivan et Castro : l'histoire selon Pierre Bergounioux

open access: yesÉtudes romanes de Brno, 2013
This contribution focuses on the representation of history in four texts by Pierre Bergounioux. La Mort de Brune (1996), an evocation of the writer's sleepy native town Brive in the 1950's and 1960's, tells the story of Brune, one of Brive's very few ...
