A Cross‐Layer Spatial–Spectral Optimization Framework for Hybrid Routing and Load‐Balanced Channel Allocation in Intelligent Networks

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
Rapid 5G/6G evolution demands cross‐layer resource management to address congestion, latency, and reliability in multi‐hop wireless networks. This paper proposes a TOHRP–LBCA framework using DSA and congestion−/topology−/interference‐aware routing and channel allocation, yielding throughput gains, lower latency, improved packet delivery, and higher ...

HMC‐DSR: An FPGA‐Accelerated Clustered Routing Protocol for Scalable and Energy‐Efficient MANETs

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
FPGA‐based HMC‐DSR protocol enhances MANET routing with real‐time, energy‐efficient processing, reducing end‐to‐end delay by 20.7%. Power consumption decreased by 15.8%, making it ideal for energy‐constrained systems. Hardware resource optimization achieved a 31.2% reduction in flip‐flops and 27.4% in slice utilization. Throughput improvement of 19.4%,

Understanding the Autonomous Electric Vehicle Cyber Threat Landscape: A Focus on Infrastructure, Threats and Ontology‐Based Modelling

open access: yesEnergy Internet, Volume 3, Issue 1, Page 39-51, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The development of autonomous electric vehicles (AEVs) represents the convergence of two simultaneous automotive revolutions: electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous vehicles (AVs). AVs require sensors, decision‐making systems and actuation systems to achieve autonomous driving, whereas EVs require intelligent management and real‐time ...

The Social Genesis of the Hungarian Literary Field: Symbolic Revolution and the Fall of Aristocratic Authority

open access: yesSociology Lens, Volume 39, Issue 1, Page 83-96, March 2026.
ABSTRACT At the center of this study is a key event in the formation of the modern Hungarian literary field: the series of debates known as the Lexicon Trial (1830–1831), which played a decisive role in the institutionalization and autonomization of literature during Hungary's Reform Era (1825–1848).

Assessing the impact of various attacks on the AODV routing protocol in MANETs using NS2 simulator

open access: yesOpen Engineering
Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) play a crucial role in wireless communications, particularly in areas without infrastructure, such as military operations, disaster zones, and emergency response situations.

Mixed Adenoneuroendocrine Carcinoma (MANEC) of the Stomach: A Case Report in a 52‐Year‐Old Male Following Total D2 Gastrectomy

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Gastric MANEC (gMANEC) is a rare tumor composed of at least 30% each adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) components. A 52‐year‐old male underwent total D2 gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Final pathology revealed MANEC. We compare outcomes and mortality rates between gastric MANEC and conventional adenocarcinoma.

Congestion control for MANETs: An overview

open access: yesICT Express, 2019
In a MANET, there is no need to deploy any infrastructure to make nodes to communicate with each other. MANETs have unique characteristics that complicate congestion control. The standard TCP congestion control mechanism is not able to handle the special

A century of art dealing in New York. The rise of American art

open access: yesThe Economic History Review, Volume 79, Issue 1, Page 281-311, February 2026.
Abstract We study art trade in New York between 1870 and 1970, analysing returns on investment by the renowned Knoedler gallery to shed light on the evolution of the American art market. A generalist art gallery should allocate investments to equalize expected returns, with differences in effective returns depending on purchase prices, number of traded
