The Tracking Algorithms for Non-maneuvering Target and Maneuvering Target
2012 Fifth International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design, 2012The most commonly used methods of target tracking in the linear system is Least Square Filtering, Kalman filtering and Interacting Multiple Model(IMM). in this article, we use Least Square Algorithm and the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) to study the tracking of non-maneuvering target and maneuvering target.

Maneuvering frequency adaptive algorithm of maneuvering target tracking
2013 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing (ICICIP), 2013The current statistical model is one of most effective method for maneuvering target tracking. It's the mean acceleration model and it reflects the variation of target's maneuvering rang and the intensity more practically . However, the frequency of maneuvering α , which represents the variation of target maneuvering, needs to be predefined and it won ...

Target tracking in maneuver centered coordinates
Proceedings of the 1988 IEEE National Radar Conference, 1989Aircraft targets normally maneuver on circular paths which has led to tracking filters based on circular turns. The authors introduce a new coordinate system to track circular maneuvers with a simple Kalman filter. When the maneuver is detected the tracker switches to a polar coordinate system located at the center of the maneuver.

A tracking algorithm of maneuvering targets
[1992] Proceedings of the 31st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1993A methodology for the tracking of maneuvering targets is presented. The authors' algorithm uses a quickest detection scheme based on the innovation sequence that minimizes the maneuver detection delay. Their approach also includes a recursive technique to maneuver magnitude estimation and a modified Kalman filter that incorporates the maneuver ...

Target visibility for multiple maneuvering target tracking
SPIE Proceedings, 2015We present a recursion of the probability of target visibility and its applications to analysis of track life and termination in the context of Global Nearest Neighbour (GNN) approach and Probability Hypothesis Density (PHD) filter. In the presence of uncertainties brought about by clutter; decisions to retain a track, terminate it or initialise a new ...

Smoothing for maneuvering target tracking
2006 9th International Conference on Information Fusion, 2006Smoothing algorithms for maneuvering target tracking with nonlinear target dynamic and measurement equations are described and investigated. Target motion is represented using a multiple model approach. Techniques based on the interacting multiple model filter (IMMF), hypothesis pruning and maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation of the maneuvering mode ...

Sequential detection of target maneuvers
2005 7th International Conference on Information Fusion, 2005This paper addresses target maneuver onset detection based on sequential statistical tests. Cumulative sums (CUSUM) type and Shiryayev sequential probability ratio (SSPRT) tests are developed by using a likelihood marginalization technique to cope with the difficulty that the target maneuver accelerations are unknown.
