Tracking a Maneuvering Target Using Neural Fuzzy Network
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Part B (Cybernetics), 2002A fast target maneuver detecting and highly accurate tracking technique using a neural fuzzy network based on Kalman filter is proposed in this paper. In the automatic target tracking system, there exists an important and difficult problem: how to detect the target maneuvers and fast response to avoid miss-tracking?

Tracking of a maneuvering underwater target
2011 International Symposium on Ocean Electronics, 2011This paper elaborates a technique for improving the performance of a sensor network based system for tracking an abruptly maneuvering under water target. The results of tracking estimates of a maneuvering target may vary owing to various noises and interferences such as sensor errors and environmental noises.

Optimal Tracking of Maneuvering Targets
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1973Maneuvering target motion is modeled by introducing a binary random variable in the target state equation. The optimal estimate is shown to be a weighted combination of two Kalman filter estimates with weights depending on the likelihood ratio for the detection of a maneuver. A tracking scheme is proposed for maneuvering target tracking and illustrated

Maneuvering target tracking with colored noise
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1996It is known that colored noise may degrade the performance of a tracking algorithm. A common remedy is to model colored noise as an autoregressive (AR) process and apply the measurement difference method. One problem with the approach is that the AR parameters are usually unknown.

Target maneuver models for tracking estimators
Proceedings. ICCON IEEE International Conference on Control and Applications, 2005This paper addresses the enhancement of maneuvering target, tracking for homing missiles by using a priori knowledge about the target inotion. Orthogonality between the target acceleration and velocity vector is assumed, and a new stochastic target, model is proposed where the orthogonality is embedded.

A method of tracking maneuver target
The 27th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (2015 CCDC), 2015The problem of tracking maneuver target has been widely researched in the whole world and a good tracking approach may help to gain the advantage of the battlefield and to track the target effectively. A common flow of process the problem has been provided and a formulation of the tracking problem has been discussed from a different perspective in this

Generative Model for Maneuvering Target Tracking
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2010We consider the challenging problem of tracking highly maneuverable targets with unknown dynamics and introduce a new generative maneuvering target model (GMTM) that, for a rigid body target, explicitly estimates not only the kinematics, here considered as effect variables, but also the underlying causative dynamic variables including forces and ...

Visual Tracking of a Maneuvering Target
Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 2006This paper presents an acceleration-command generation and its implementation for an aerial vehicle in the problem of visual target tracking, when the target is free to make any maneuver with arbitrary but otherwise bounded acceleration. The acceleration command is generated by an adaptive disturbance rejection control algorithm that uses only visual ...

Quadrature filters for maneuvering target tracking
International Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICRAIE-2014), 2014In this paper, a maneuvering target tracking problem has been solved by using the Guss-Hermite filter (GHF) and sparse-grid Gauss-Hermite filter (SGHF). Univariate Gauss-Hermite quadrature rule is extended for multidimensional systems by using the product rule and the Smolyak's rule in GHF and SGHF respectively. The SGHF, which is an alternative of GHF

Maneuvering Target Tracking with Hypothesis Testing
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1987A new approach is proposed for maneuvering target tracking.Target motion is described by nonlinear models in a sphericalcoordinate system. States of these models are estimated byquantization, multiple hypothesis testing, and a suboptimumdecoding algorithm of information theory. This approach does notrequire linearization of nonlinear models.
