Modeling the Maximum Magnetic Entropy Change of Doped Manganite Using a Grid Search-Based Extreme Learning Machine and Hybrid Gravitational Search-Based Support Vector Regression

open access: yesCrystals, 2020
The thermal response of a magnetic solid to an applied magnetic field constitutes magnetocaloric effect. The maximum magnetic entropy change (MMEC) is one of the quantitative parameters characterizing this effect, while the magnetic solids exhibiting ...

Oxygen Vacancies Driven Photoconductivity in Layered Cobaltite Epitaxial Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 10, 25 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding photoinduced phenomena in complex oxides is crucial for developing next‐generation optoelectronic devices. Here, we report pronounced ultraviolet (UV) light‐induced photoconductivity in epitaxial PrBa1‐xCaxCo2O5+δ (x = 0.5) thin films grown on (001) LSAT substrates via pulsed laser deposition.

Magnetoresistive properties of nanostructured manganite cobaltite films.

open access: yes, 2021
In this doctoral dissertation the magnetoresistance properties of manganite films La1 xSrxMnzO3 doped with cobalt (La1−xSrx(Mn1−yCoy)zO3) were investigated. The resistivity vs.

The electrical transition temperature and magnetoresistance prediction of LaSr2Mn2O7 bilayered manganite

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences, 2018
In this paper, the resistivity of bilayer manganite LaSr2Mn2O7 around the metal–insulator-like transition was systematically calculated as a function of temperature and applied magnetic field. A typical mathematical function (Gauss function) was used for

Low-Field Colossal Magnetoresistance in Manganite Tunnel Junctions

open access: yes, 1997
Large magnetoresistance values are obtained on tunnel junctions epitaxially deposited by pulsed-laser deposition and consisting of ferromagnetic manganite La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 electrodes separated by various tunnel barriers: SrTiO3, PrBaCu2.8Ga0.2O7 and CeO2.

Interfacial Atomic and Electronic Structures of LSM/YSZ Thin Films as Models for SOC Air Electrodes

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 6, 17 March 2026.
Lanthanum–strontium manganite/yttria‐stabilized zirconia thin films serve as model systems for solid oxide cell electrodes, where high‐resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal atomistic interfacial features and electronic structure supported by atomistic modeling of these interfaces.

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.
