Oxygen Vacancies Driven Photoconductivity in Layered Cobaltite Epitaxial Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 10, 25 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding photoinduced phenomena in complex oxides is crucial for developing next‐generation optoelectronic devices. Here, we report pronounced ultraviolet (UV) light‐induced photoconductivity in epitaxial PrBa1‐xCaxCo2O5+δ (x = 0.5) thin films grown on (001) LSAT substrates via pulsed laser deposition.

Magnetization of manganite thin films on ferroelectric substrates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
© 2016 Elsevier B.V.Here we report the magnetic susceptibility measurements of magnetron sputtered orthorhombic manganite RMnO3 (R=Yb, Gd) thin films deposited on dielectric LaAlO3 and ferroelectric SrTiO3, LiNbO3 substrates.

Increased Curie Temperature Induced by Orbital Ordering in La0.67Sr0.33MnO3/BaTiO3 Superlattices

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2018
Recent theoretical studies indicated that the Curie temperature of perovskite manganite thin films can be increased by more than an order of magnitude by applying appropriate interfacial strain to control orbital ordering.

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Dependence of negative differential resistance on electronic phase separation in unpatterned manganite films

open access: yes, 2012
Here, we report that small but well-defined negative differential resistance (NDR) steps can be observed at critical voltages in unpatterned millimeter-scale manganite films of Pr0.65(Ca0.75Sr0.25)0.35MnO3.

High‐Efficiency CO2 Electrolysis Enabled by Interface‐Engineered Composite Electrolytes in Ni‐Based SOEC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 14, 9 March 2026.
This study addresses the critical issue of delamination between YSZ and GDC electrolytes in SOECs, which is caused by Thermal deformation disparity. A novel YSZ‐GDC composite interlayer, fabricated using a simple dip‐coating method, is introduced to solve this problem. This layer effectively suppresses delamination by mitigating thermal stress.

Single-axis control of manganite films by helium doping via He-co-sputtering

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
We have studied the effect of the out-of-plane lattice on tensile strained (001) La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 thin films. The films were deposited on SrTiO3 substrates through magnetron sputtering technique under different Ar/O2/He gas flow ratios, varying the out-of ...

Structural, Superconducting and Magnetic Properties of Oxygen‐Annealed Fe1+yTe Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 3, March 2026.
FeTe:Ox films exhibit exchange bias below their Néel temperatures, which coexists with superconductivity. STEM analysis reveals the structural changes induced by oxygen treatment. DFT calculations indicate that interstitial oxygen suppresses antiferromagnetism and promotes superconductivity.
