Effects of interaction and disorder on polarons in colossal resistance manganite Pr0.68Ca0.32MnO3 thin films

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2014
The colossal magnetoresistance effect (CMR), the drop of the electric resistance by orders of magnitude in a strong magnetic field, is a fascinating property of strongly correlated electrons in doped manganites.

Nanoscale phase separation in $La_{0.7}Ca_{0.3}MnO_3$ films: evidence for the texture driven optical anisotropy

open access: yes, 2002
The IR optical absorption (0.1-1.5 eV) in the $La_{0.7}Ca_{0.3}MnO_3$ films on LAO substrate exhibits the drastic temperature evolution of the spectral weight evidencing the insulator to metal transition.

A note on the different crystalline features of the EuMnO3-based solid solutions as a function of the modifying cation nature

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 2010
The structural properties of solid solutions based on EuMnO3, in which Eu has been substituted by divalent Ca2+ and Mn by the divalent cation Ni2+ or the variable valence cation Co2+-Co3+ have been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray absorption ...

Crystalline behaviour and electrical properties of manganese perovskites substituted on A or B sites: ErMnO3 modified by Ca and EuMnO3 modified by Co

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 2010
The structural and electrical features of the manganites solid solutions (Er,Ca)MnO3 and Eu(Co,Mn)O3, have been studied by X-ray diffraction and conductivity measurements. Powders were prepared by solid-state

Manganites - Structural Aspects

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica A, 2010
Manganese perovskites with the general formula A1−xA′MnO3+δ (A = La, rare earth, A′ = rare earth, Ca, Sr, Ba, etc.) were discovered in the 1950’s [1] and soon after their properties were extensively studied. The interest in the manganite has been renewed in connection with the discovery of colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) [2, 3].

Graphic User Interface for Monte Carlo Simulation of Ferromagnetic/Antiferromagnetic Manganite Bilayers

open access: yesTecnoLógicas, 2011
The manganites have been widely studied because of their important properties as colossal magnetoresistance and exchange bias that are important phenomena used in many technological applications.

Ultrathin manganite layers

open access: yes, 2011
Epitaxial La-deficient ultrathin films of La1-5MnO3 LMO were grown by a metalorganic aerosol deposition technique with monolayer accuracy on SrTiO3 STO substrates and engineered by using different interfacial layers. The role of LaO-TiO2 interface in the formation of the ferromagnetic metallic state in very thin LMO films was demonstrated.
