Adaptive Genomic Divergence Across Altitudes in Capsella bursa‐pastoris
Genomic divergence was observed between high‐altitude and low‐altitude populations of Capsella bursa‐pastoris in China, consistent with an important role of ecological factors. Candidate adaptive loci associated with enhanced energy metabolism, photoprotection, and growth plasticity under altitudinal stress were identified.

Online Incremental Learning for High Bandwidth Network Traffic Classification
Data stream mining techniques are able to classify evolving data streams such as network traffic in the presence of concept drift. In order to classify high bandwidth network traffic in real-time, data stream mining classifiers need to be implemented on ...

A hand‐powered and mechanically programmable electrowetting‐on‐dielectric platform is demonstrated by integrating a contact‐separation triboelectric nanogenerator with a mechanically encoded punch‐card switch array. This unified mechanical–electrical architecture enables autonomous, portable, and robust droplet control for field‐deployable microfluidic

Abstract Background The molecular mechanisms underlying adaptation to physical exertion and racing stress in horses remain incompletely understood. Peripheral blood transcriptomics offers a minimally invasive method to monitor systemic responses to exercise and identify biomarkers of adaptation or overload. Objectives To evaluate transcriptomic changes

ABSTRACT In this article, we apply the notion of gravitational fields to commercial attraction, with the aim of providing valuable insights to inform the development of an econophysical methodology. We revisit the traditional notion of gravitational fields, extending it to encompass multiple economic variables and incorporating mobility and production ...

The City of Louisville Encapsulates the United States Demographics
Background: One weakness that applies to all population-based studies performed in the United States (US) is that investigators perform population-based extrapolations without providing objective statistical evidence to show how well a particular city is

ABSTRACT While existing work shows COVID‐19 stay‐at‐home (SAH) policies decreased mobility on average, we lack evidence regarding heterogeneity in policy effectiveness across US counties. To uncover potential heterogeneity, we implement a novel two‐stage approach.
