Su Kalitesi Parametreleri için Mann-Kendall ve Yenilikçi Trend Yöntemlerinin Karşılaştırılması

open access: yesJournal of Innovations in Civil Engineering and Technology

Spatiotemporal dynamics and machine learning‐based prediction of above‐ground biomass in the Indus Delta mangroves

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, EarlyView.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Mangrove forests are important blue carbon ecosystems, yet long‐term above‐ground biomass (AGB) dynamics in arid deltaic systems remain poorly understood. Here, we integrated field‐derived AGB data with multisource remote sensing and machine learning models (random ...

Laypeople's Views on the Narrative Identity and Societal Treatment of Genetically Modified People

open access: yesBioethics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Genome editing in human embryos could raise new ethical issues by changing future people's narrative and numerical identity. Most philosophers agree that some genetic modifications would have larger effects on identity than others, but they disagree on what criteria might explain these differences and have not supported their claims ...

Comparing Foster and Non‐Foster Adolescents: A Pilot Study on Relationships and Psychological Difficulties

open access: yesChild &Family Social Work, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Adolescents experience substantial changes in their close relationships, which are linked to psychological adjustment. Research on relationships among adolescents in foster care is limited, especially in Germany. This pilot study (N = 30; 15 in foster families, 15 in biological families) explored how relationship qualities—measured by the ...

Effects of parachute science on local research capacity 降落伞科学对当地研究能力的影响

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Strengthening research capacity is essential to address the global biodiversity crisis. Yet, parachute science often undermines this goal, and its prevalence, costs, and benefits are unclear. We analyzed 13,502 publications on primate research that we extracted from Scopus (1960–2022) to evaluate the effects of parachute science on local ...

Changes in the transformative potential of action proposals in Finnish Red Lists from 1986 to 2019

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Red lists provide critical knowledge regarding biodiversity decline, especially in Finland, where broad assessments have been made regularly since the 1980s. They deliver information on the threat status of species and ecosystems, propose actions to guide conservation policy, and have the potential to spur transformative change.
