Oral Tongue Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Young Adults in Brazil: Temporal Trends From 2013 to 2023

open access: yesOral Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background This study aimed to analyze the temporal trends of oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (OTSCC) in Brazil from 2013 to 2023, comparing young adults (20 to 44 years) to older adults (≥ 45 years). Methods Sex, age, staging, year, and Federative Unit of diagnosis were evaluated for all cases registered under the ICD‐C02 code in a public

Which attributes of restored oyster reefs provide the best habitat for sportfish?

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Restoration practitioners seek to restore oyster ecosystems as habitat designed for species targeted by recreational fisheries, but they require information on which specific habitat parameters of oyster reefs are preferred by fish.

Beyond barriers: fish assemblage recovery following dam removal on the Cuyahoga River, a Lake Erie tributary

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, EarlyView.
Dam removals are increasing globally, yet ecological outcomes vary widely because biological recovery depends on post‐removal connectivity and access to source populations. We evaluated how multiple dam removals and remaining fragmentation influenced fish assemblage recovery in the Cuyahoga River (OH, United States), a historically polluted Great Lakes

Prepackaged Low‐Residue Diet “Clear‐Through” Reduces the Required Volume of Polyethylene Glycol Solution for Colonoscopy Preparation: An Exploratory Randomized Controlled Study

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 7, Issue 1, April 2027.
ABSTRACT Objectives Large volumes of polyethylene glycol (PEG) solution reduce patient acceptance of colonoscopy. A prepackaged low‐residue diet (PLRD; Clear‐Through) may improve bowel cleansing and allow further PEG reduction. This exploratory randomized study evaluated whether PLRD permits decreased PEG with ascorbic acid (PEG‐Asc) volume while ...

Efficacy and Safety of Subcutaneous Efgartigimod PH20 in Adults With Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia (ADVANCE SC): A Multicenter, Randomized, Double‐Blinded, Placebo‐Controlled, Phase 3 Trial

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 101, Issue 7, Page 1494-1506, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Primary autoimmune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is characterized by thrombocytopenia, bleeding, and reduced health‐related quality of life. In the Phase 3 ADVANCE IV study, intravenous efgartigimod induced significant platelet count responses versus placebo in patients with chronic ITP. ADVANCE SC, a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double‐blinded,

Flowering out of sync: Climate change alters the reproductive phenology of Terminalia paniculata in the Western Ghats of India

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 8, Issue 4, Page 1322-1333, July 2026.
Understanding how climate change impacts the plant life cycle is critical for maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem services. Our findings suggest that Terminalia paniculata Roth, a common tropical deciduous tree species in the Western Ghats, is now flowering and fruiting at more scattered times than it used to in the past.

Revealing Emerging Hydroclimatic Shifts: Advanced Trend Analysis of Rainfall and Streamflow in the Navasota River Watershed

open access: yesHydrology
Rainfall and streamflow analyses have long been central to hydrological research, yet traditional approaches often overlook the complexity introduced by changing climate signals, land-use dynamics, and human infrastructure.

A trend analysis of hydrological time series by Mann-Kendall test

open access: yes, 2003
