High‐Temperature Heat Pump Test Bench with n‐Butane (R‐600) Generating Steam
This work involves building a test bench for a high‐temperature heat pump (HTHP) and analyzing the measurements. The focus is on steam generation using an HTHP to decarbonize process steam demand. The findings indicate that stable steam generation is possible, providing a higher heat transfer coefficient in the heat pump's condenser.

Mannheim Curves in the three-dimensional Sphere
Mannheim curves are defined for immersed curves in 3-dimensional sphere S^3 . The definition is given by considering the geodesics of S^3. First, two special geodesics, called principal normal geodesic and binormal geodesic, of S^3 are defined by using Frenet vectors of a curve immersed in S^3. Later, the curve alpha is called a Mannheim curve if there

On generalized partially null Mannheim curves in Minkowski space-time
In this paper we define generalized partially null and pseudo null Mannheim curves in Minkowski space-time $E^{4}_{1}$. We prove that there are no non-geodesic generalized partially null Mannheim curves in $E^{4}_{1}$, by considering the cases when the corresponding mate curve is a spacelike, a timelike , a null Cartan, a pratially null or a pseudo ...

Energy Flexibilization and Demand Response for a Novel Decentralized Power‐to‐Methanol Process
This study presents the results of an optimization framework for the scheduling of a Power‐to‐methanol process coupled with an electrolyser, renewable energy sources and a battery. The optimal dynamic operating schedule is computed with different configurations and boundary conditions, showing the advantages of flexible operation.

A Study on Dual Mannheim Partner Curves
Mannheim partner curves are studied by Liu and Wang [1,2]. Orbay and others extended the theory of the Mannheim curves to the ruled surface in Euclidean 3-space[3]. We obtain the relationships between the curvatures and the torsions of the dual Mannheim partner curves with respect to each other.

Generalized Mannheim curves in Minkowski space-time E14
In this paper, the definition of generalized spacelike Mannheim curve in Minkowski space-time $E_1^4$ is given. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the generalized spacelike Mannheim curve are obtained. Also, some characterizations of Mannheim curve are given.

Abstract Background Obesity is a known risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD), yet an ‘obesity paradox’ has been observed in various CVD contexts. The impact of obesity on heart failure (HF) patients treated with a wearable cardioverter‐defibrillator (WCD) remains underexplored.

Mannheim partner curves in Cartan-Vranceanu 3-space
In this paper, the Mannheim mate curves of the proper biharmonic curves in Cartan-Vranceanu 3-dimensional spaces (M,ds2l,m), with l2 ? 4m and m ? 0 are studied. We give the definition of the Mannheim mate of a proper biharmonic curve and give the explicit parametric equations of that Mannheim mate curve in Cartan-Vranceanu 3-dimensional ...

The Distributive Consequences of Active Welfare Policies in Europe
ABSTRACT This article examines the distributive consequences of active welfare policies in Europe by analysing tier‐specific investments in individualised employment services across four European welfare states: Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
