EVALUATION OF LINEAR KINETIC METHODS FROM PYROLYSIS DATA OF SPANISH OIL SHALES AND COALS; pp. 227–245 [PDF]

open access: yesOil Shale, 2008
This work involves a comparative study of six different linear methods: three methods based on several curves and three based on a single curve for deriving kinetic parameters from TG/DTG curves in the interval related to oil and hydrocarbon generation.

Panel Sequential Group Estimation of Interactive Effects Models

open access: yesOxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a novel procedure to identify latent groups in the slopes of panel data models with interactive effects. The method is straightforward to apply and relies only on closed‐form estimators when evaluating the objective function.

Effects of photobiomodulation therapy on pulmonary inflammation in chronic asthma: Dosimetric study in an experimental model

open access: yesPhotochemistry and Photobiology, EarlyView.
Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) was evaluated across a radiant energy range (1–7.5 J) in a murine model of chronic ovalbumin‐induced asthma to identify the optimal therapeutic dose. PBMT attenuated airway inflammation and remodelling, suppressed Th2 cytokines, and enhanced regulatory immune responses, highlighting a dose‐dependent immunomodulatory ...

TNFSF14/LIGHT responses in intestinal and oesophageal fibroblasts are differentially modulated by hydroxylase inhibitors

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend LIGHT is a mutual mediator of intestinal and oesophageal fibroblast inflammation with common as well as tissue‐specific effects. Hydroxylase inhibitors can selectively suppress inflammatory factors in both cell types, albeit targeting different signalling pathways.

Revealing the Transmission Hologram's Refractive Index Profile Stored in a Photohydrogel: A Structural Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 25, 3 July 2026.
A theoretical model is developed to visualize three‐dimensional refractive index profiles in transmission holographic gratings. In this work, it is applied to photopolymerizable hydrogels, enabling detailed analysis of the internal structure of recorded holograms and their evolution under different degradation conditions.

Sustainable Lithium Recovery From Spent NMC622 Cathodes by a CO2‐Leaching Pathway

open access: yesBattery Energy, Volume 5, Issue 4, July 2026.
This study presents a CO2‐driven hydrometallurgical route for selectively extracting lithium from NMC 622 cathodes. By optimizing key operating parameters, the process achieves high lithium dissolution, exceeding EU targets, and efficient Li2CO3 recovery.
