Rich Dad Poor Dad? CEO Private School Background and Firm Risk
European Financial Management, EarlyView.ABSTRACT We examine the effect of CEO childhood socioeconomic status (SES) on firm risk. Using hand‐collected data on US CEOs' private high‐school attendance as proxy for high‐SES, we find that firms led by high‐SES CEOs exhibit 5.35% lower firm risk. Mutual fund director compensation
Journal of Financial Research, EarlyView.Abstract We examine director compensation using a large sample of hand‐compiled U.S. mutual fund data. We find that director compensation is positively correlated with observable productive characteristics—workload, experience, and demographics—that capture the benefits from the directors’ monitoring effort.

Anticholinergic burden scales help identify patients at risk of anticholinergic adverse effects and guide prescribing.
