Mean diel variability of surface energy fluxes over Manso Reservoir
Inland Waters, 2015Mean diel cycle of latent ( E ), sensible ( H ), net longwave ( Lw net ), net shortwave ( Sw ), and net surface heat flux balance ( S ) were estimated from hourly meteorological and subsurface water temperature time series acquired for ~1 month during mid-austral autumn by a buoy system in a large tropical reservoir in Brazil.

Fish mercury increase in Lago Manso, a new hydroelectric reservoir in tropical Brazil
Journal of Environmental Management, 2006It has been frequently demonstrated that mercury (Hg) concentrations in fish rise in newly constructed hydroelectric reservoirs in the Northern Hemisphere. In the present work, we studied whether similar effects take place also in a tropical upland reservoir during impoundment and discuss possible causes and implications.

11th International Congress of the Brazilian Geophysical Society & EXPOGEF 2009, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, 24-28 August 2009, 2009
This work presents the methane fluxes and the used methodology in the reservoir hydroelectric power plant of Manso (Matogrosso, Brazil) were presented. Measurements of water dissolved methane (DM) in three different depths (subsuperficial, middle and near the sediments) were also made.
