A series of ultraviolet‐ and near‐infrared radiation sensitive photoactivatable hydrogels are developed that can be controlled spatiotemporally down to µm precisions using one‐ and two‐photon uncaging. The latent hydroxylamine‐, hydrazine‐, and amine uncaged moieties are used to photopattern a series of diverse proteins displaying complimentary ...

Hardware and Software manual for Evolution of Oil Droplets in a Chemo-Robotic Platform [PDF]
This manual outlines a fully automated liquid handling robot to enable physically-embodied evolution within a chemical oil-droplet system. The robot is based upon the REPRAP3D printer system and makes the droplets by mixing chemicals and then placing them in a petri dish after which they are recorded using a camera and the behaviour of the droplets ...

Learning Structured Communication for Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning [PDF]
This work explores the large-scale multi-agent communication mechanism under a multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) setting. We summarize the general categories of topology for communication structures in MARL literature, which are often manually specified.

Vivid Structural Coloration in Transparent MXene‐Cellulose Nanocrystals Composite Films
Vivid structural coloration in reflectance and high transparency in transmittance modes are observed in biopolymer‐layered composite films. The ultrathin multilayered structures have unique optical appearance, near‐infrared bandgap, and strong optical reflection caused by alternating MXene and cellulose nanocrystals layers with high refractive index ...
