Perinatal outcomes in pregnancies with very and extremely advanced maternal age: An Italian multicenter retrospective cohort study

Assisted reproduction in women aged ≥45 years increases maternal risks, particularly with donor oocytes, while neonatal outcomes remain unaffected. These findings highlight the importance of personalized counseling and care strategies in very advanced maternal age pregnancies.

A compartmentalized joint‐on‐chip (JoC) platform is here developed, modelling the interactions between cartilage and synovium in osteoarthritis (OA). Using independent culture and mechanical/biochemical stimulation, the JoC revealed how inflammation and mechanical damage drive mutual tissue changes.

Habitat partitioning and spatial segregation at multiple scales promotes year‐round coexistence in a guild of forest songbirds

Species of the same guild often show ecological, biological or genetic similarities, yet they should also show different micro‐habitat requirements or local spatial distributions to coexist in the same area. These patterns may be fundamental in reducing interspecific competition and maintaining biodiversity across ecological and evolutionary timescales.
