UAV-Aided Radio Map Construction Exploiting Environment Semantics [PDF]
This paper constructs a full dimensional (6D) radio map to predict the channel gain between any transmitter location and any receiver location based on received signal strength (RSS) measurements between low-altitude aerial nodes and ground nodes.

From mapping class groups to automorphism groups of free groups [PDF]
We show that the natural map from the mapping class groups of surfaces to the automorphism groups of free groups, induces an infinite loop map on the classifying spaces of the stable groups after plus construction.

HIMap: HybrId Representation Learning for End-to-end Vectorized HD Map Construction [PDF]
Vectorized High-Definition (HD) map construction requires predictions of the category and point coordinates of map elements (e.g. road boundary, lane divider, pedestrian crossing, etc.).

Channel Knowledge Map for Environment-Aware Communications: EM Algorithm for Map Construction [PDF]
Channel knowledge map (CKM) is an emerging technique to enable environment-aware wireless communications, in which databases with location-specific channel knowledge are used to facilitate or even obviate real-time channel state information acquisition ...

MGMap: Mask-Guided Learning for Online Vectorized HD Map Construction [PDF]
Currently, high-definition (HD) map construction leans towards a lightweight online generation tendency, which aims to preserve timely and reliable road scene information. However, map elements contain strong shape priors.

The Seiberg-Witten Map on the Fuzzy Sphere [PDF]
We construct covariant coordinate transformations on the fuzzy sphere and utilize these to construct a covariant map from a gauge theory on the fuzzy sphere to a gauge theory on the ordinary sphere.

New constructions of Cremona maps [PDF]
One defines two ways of constructing rational maps derived from other rational maps, in a characteristic-free context. The first introduces the Newton complementary dual of a rational map. One main result is that this dual preserves birationality and gives an involutional map of the Cremona group to itself that restricts to the monomial Cremona ...

The construction of $$\epsilon $$-splitting map
For a geodesic ball with non-negative Ricci curvature and almost maximal volume, without using compactness argument, we construct an $\epsilon$-splitting map on a concentric geodesic ball with uniformly small radius. There are two new technical points in our proof.
