Poincare's Recurrence Theorem and the Unitarity of the S matrix
A scattering process can be described by suitably closing the system and considering the first return map from the entrance onto itself. This scattering map may be singular and discontinuous, but it will be measure preserving as a consequence of the ...

Circle maps and C*-algebras [PDF]
We consider a construction of C*-algebras from continuous piecewise monotone maps on the circle which generalizes the crossed product construction for homeomorphisms and more generally the construction of Renault, Deaconu and Anantharaman-Delaroche for ...

Psychosocial Outcomes in Patients With Endocrine Tumor Syndromes: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Introduction The combination of disease manifestations, the familial burden, and varying penetrance of endocrine tumor syndromes (ETSs) is unique. This review aimed to portray and summarize available data on psychosocial outcomes in patients with ETSs and explore gaps and opportunities for future research and care.

A geometric criterion for generating the Fukaya category [PDF]
Given a collection of exact Lagrangians in a Liouville manifold, we construct a map from the Hochschild homology of the Fukaya category that they generate to symplectic cohomology.

Accurate Spectrum Map Construction Using An Intelligent Frequency-Spatial Reasoning Approach
Spectrum map is of crucial importance for realizing efficient spectrum management in the sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication networks. However, the existing spectrum map construction schemes mainly depend on spatial interpolation and cannot ...

ABSTRACT Introduction We developed MedSupport, a multilevel medication adherence intervention designed to address root barriers to medication adherence. This study sought to explore the feasibility and acceptability of the MedSupport intervention strategies to support a future full‐scale randomized controlled trial.

Parent‐to‐Child Information Disclosure in Pediatric Oncology
ABSTRACT Background Despite professional consensus regarding the importance of open communication with pediatric cancer patients about their disease, actual practice patterns of disclosure are understudied. Extant literature suggests a significant proportion of children are not told about their diagnosis/prognosis, which is purported to negatively ...

Modularity, Quaternion-Kahler spaces and Mirror Symmetry
We provide an explicit twistorial construction of quaternion-Kahler manifolds obtained by deformation of c-map spaces and carrying an isometric action of the modular group SL(2,Z).

Nonabelian noncommutative gauge theory via noncommutative extra dimensions [PDF]
The concept of covariant coordinates on noncommutative spaces leads directly to gauge theories with generalized noncommutative gauge fields of the type that arises in string theory with background B-fields.

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.
