Constructing optimal entanglement witnesses. II [PDF]
We provide a class of optimal nondecomposable entanglement witnesses for 4N x 4N composite quantum systems or, equivalently, a new construction of nondecomposable positive maps in the algebra of 4N x 4N complex matrices.

Generating Minimal Boundary Maps [PDF]
In this paper we examine the descriptive potential of a combinatorial data structure known as "Generating Set" in constructing the boundary maps of a simplicial complex. By refining the approach of \cite{Dumas} in generating these maps, we provide algorithms that allow for relations among simplices to be easily accounted for.

A generalized Hirzebruch Riemann-Roch theorem [PDF]
This short note proves a generalization of the Hirzebruch Riemann-Roch theorem equivalent to the Cardy condition described in [1]. This is done using an earlier result [4] that explicitly describes what the Mukai pairing in [1] descends to in Hodge ...

Generalizing Choi-Like Maps [PDF]
A problem of further generalization of generalized Choi maps $ _{[a,b,c]}$ acting on $\mathbb{M}_3$ introduced by Cho, Kye and Lee is discussed. Some necessary conditions for positivity of the generalized maps are provided as well as some sufficient conditions. Also some sufficient condition for decomposability of these maps is shown.

Cartographic visualization of outputs for spatial decision-making in regional development
Regional development is full of planning and decision making. Having precise results for spatial decision making (SDM) is more than necessary. On one site, there are many approaches how to process input data, on the other hand thematic cartography also ...

Vicious Walkers and Hook Young Tableaux [PDF]
We consider a generalization of the vicious walker model. Using a bijection map between the path configuration of the non-intersecting random walkers and the hook Young diagram, we compute the probability concerning the number of walker's movements ...

Point-Map-Probabilities of a Point Process and Mecke's Invariant Measure Equation
A compatible point-shift $F$ maps, in a translation invariant way, each point of a stationary point process $\Phi$ to some point of $\Phi$. It is fully determined by its associated point-map, $f$, which gives the image of the origin by $F$. It was proved

A continuous merging method for natural surface elements based on morphing
Electronic maps urgently require continuous scale representation, with element merging being the core part. However, current research on the continuous merging of natural areal elements focuses on the selection of merging objects, neglecting the crucial ...

The major reason that the fully automated generalization of residential areas has not been achieved to date is that it is difficult to acquire the knowledge that is required for automated generalization and for the calculation of spatial similarity ...

Continuous generalization of water system elements
Continuous generalization effectively tackling the challenge of representing maps at continuous scales. Current research on continuous generalization focuses solely on the continuous simplification of individual element, lacking the capability to handle ...
