ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab in patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), and compare it with rituximab. Methods We conducted a single–center, observational study including 22 MOGAD patients treated with ofatumumab and 21 treated with rituximab.

Housing and equity wealth effects of Italian households [PDF]
The study quantifies stock market and housing market wealth effects on households' non-durable consumption using Italian household panel data (SHIW) of 1989-2002. We found all households react similarly to aggregate housing and stock market gains.

Dimethyl Fumarate, But Not Rituximab, Reduces Serum GFAP Levels and PIRMA in Relapsing–Remitting MS
ABSTRACT Objective Serum neurofilament light chain (sNfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (sGFAP) levels are believed to reflect mainly acute and chronic disease processes in multiple sclerosis (MS), respectively. In this study, we investigated whether dimethyl fumarate (DMF) and rituximab (RTX) differentially affect these biomarkers.

Indirect Network Effects and Adoption Externalities [PDF]
The conventional wisdom is that indirect network effects, unlike direct network effects, do not give rise to externalities. In this paper we show that under very general conditions, indirect network effects lead to adoption externalities.

What Linear Estimators Miss: Re-Examining the Effects of Family Income on Child Outcomes [PDF]
This paper uses a rich Norwegian dataset to re-examine the causal relationship between family income and child outcomes. Motivated by theoretical predictions and OLS results that suggest a nonlinear relationship, we depart from previous studies in ...

ABSTRACT Subtotal hippocampal resection can leave residual hippocampal tissue, yet the immediate postoperative electrophysiologic evolution of such remnants is unknown. We describe a patient with drug‐resistant temporal lobe epilepsy in whom a hippocampal remnant was continuously monitored using a responsive neurostimulator (RNS) following subtotal ...

Research on proactive defense and dynamic repair of complex networks considering cascading effects
Cascading effects can result in the nonlinear propagation of failures in complex networks, ultimately leading to network collapse. Research on the fault propagation principles, defense strategies, and repair strategies can help mitigate the effects of ...

Specification and estimation of rating scale models - with an application to the determinants of life satisfaction [PDF]
This article proposes a new class of rating scale models, which merges advantages and overcomes shortcomings of the traditional linear and ordered latent regression models. Both parametric and semi-parametric estimation is considered.

Impact of Plasma p‐tau181 on Cognition, Motor Phenotypes, and Disease Course in ALS
ABSTRACT Phosphorylated tau181 (p‐tau181), an Alzheimer's disease biomarker, was recently evaluated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We investigated plasma p‐tau181 in 202 ALS/ALS‐FTD patients and 94 healthy controls, assessing cognitive performance, motor function, and longitudinal dynamics.
