This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Anti-Money Laundry regulation and Crime: A two-period model of money-in-the-utility-function [PDF]
The paper presents a two period model with two types of money i.e. dirty and cleans (legal) money in utility function. Clean money is earned from working in legal sector and dirty from illegal sector.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

The Ahmad-Stern approach revisited: Variants and an application to Mexico [PDF]
This paper extends the methodology first proposed by Ahmad and Stern for the design of tax reforms that are optimal at the margin. The extension centers on a sharper approximation of welfare measures. The original approach and its variant are illustrated

Uneven Growth in the Extensive Margin
This paper documents that growth in the extensive margin is on average lower in the agricultural sector than in other activities. I introduce this new fact into a simple model of trade with expanding-variety growth, to show its relevance for regions specialized in the lagging sector.
