Meningeal defects alter the tangential migration of cortical interneurons in Foxc1hith/hith mice [PDF]
Background Tangential migration presents the primary mode of migration of cortical interneurons translocating into the cerebral cortex from subpallial domains.

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.

Stress Analysis on Hemispherical Head of Internal Pressure Vessel
Since there is no unified equation of calculated stress near the marginal zone of cylindrical shell and its connected hemispherical head, this article first deduces calculated stress calculation equation near the marginal zone of hemispherical head ...

Modelling wave-induced sea ice breakup in the marginal ice zone
A model of ice floe breakup under ocean wave forcing in the marginal ice zone (MIZ) is proposed to investigate how floe size distribution (FSD) evolves under repeated wave breakup events.

Nodal marginal zone lymphoma (NMZL) is one of the three well-recognized entities within the broad category of marginal zone lymphoma, representing approximately 10% of the cases in this group. Patients typically present with nodal disease, usually at advanced stages, and a thorough work-up and staging are necessary in order to exclude occult extranodal

Relationship Between Neurologic Symptoms and Signs and FMR1 Genotype in Premutation Carriers
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Fragile X‐associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS) is the most severe late‐onset condition caused by a premutation in the FMR1 gene, characterized by expanded CGG triplet repeats of 55–200. Clinical presentations of FXTAS, including gait ataxia, kinetic tremor, cognitive decline, and rare Parkinsonism, are linked to ...

Observations of sea ice and icebergs from satellite radar altimeters [PDF]
Satellite radar altimeters can make useful contributions to the study of sea ice both by enhancing observations from other instruments and by providing a unique probe of ocean-ice interaction in the Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ).

Trajectories of Physical Function in Canadian Children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Objectives We describe trajectories of physical function in children newly diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and identify trajectories with persisting functional impairments and associated baseline characteristics. Methods We included patients enrolled in the Canadian Alliance of Pediatric Rheumatology Investigators (CAPRI) Registry ...

Homeobox NKX2-3 promotes marginal-zone lymphomagenesis by activating B-cell receptor signalling and shaping lymphocyte dynamics [PDF]
NKX2 homeobox family proteins have a role in cancer development. Here we show that NKX2-3 is overexpressed in tumour cells from a subset of patients with marginal-zone lymphomas, but not with other B-cell malignancies. While Nkx2-3-deficient mice exhibit
