An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

An Inkjet‐Printed Platinum‐Based Temperature Sensing Element on Polyimide Substrates
An inkjet‐printed, meander‐structured, nanoparticle platinum‐based resistive temperature sensors on polyimide substrates are demonstrated as proof‐of‐concept. Optimized sintering at 250°C enables stable conductive structures. The Pt100‐ and Pt1000‐type sensors exhibit linear resistance–temperature characteristics with stable TCR in the 20°C–80°C range,

La marginalità a Piacenza e nel suo circondario nella tarda età napoleonica (1810-1814)
This paper wants to be a frame about the situation of poorest people in Piacenza during the late Napoleonic age (1810-1814). In that period the French domination replaced the catholic Church in the assistance and caring of people in need, organizing a ...

Disorder relevance at marginality and critical point shift
Recently the renormalization group predictions on the effect of disorder on pinning models have been put on mathematical grounds. The picture is particularly complete if the disorder is 'relevant' or 'irrelevant' in the Harris criterion sense: the ...

Effects of Carbon Nanoparticles on Triboelectro‐Induced Surface Defects
Carbon nanoparticles added to grease modify the electrocontact behavior. The synergy of particle concentration and electric current dominates the surface damage of metals in contact. Electrical surface damage caused by current leakage is a critical challenge in high‐performance applications such as electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains and wind turbine ...

A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation
